About Me

I, S M Fijul Kabir (Mahin), have finished my PhD in Fiber and Polymer Science from NC State University. Currently, I am working as a Teaching and Research Assistant at Wilson College of Textiles, NC State University.

Since beginning my journey in the textile field, my dedication to the work and motivation to grow have led me to accomplish exceptional works in the area of fiber-reinforced 3D printed composite, sustainable textile processing and technology development in textile and fashion industry. 

I have 8+ of teaching, research and industry experience. I am skilled in statistical data analysis, textiles, composites, apparel, and additive manufacturing. My research interest includes fiber-reinforced composites, 3D printing, development of sustainable textile materials, processing and practices, protective clothing and clothing comfort.
